Call (614) 756-0643What to have ready, and what to check first
Some of these will save you a call-out entirely, which is a reasonable thing for us to tell you.
- For a dead outlet, check your GFCIs firstOne GFCI can protect several downstream outlets that have no reset button of their own. Check the garage, bathrooms, kitchen and outdoors before assuming it needs an electrician.
- For no heating or cooling, check the filterA clogged filter causes a genuine share of both no-heat and no-cool calls, and it costs nothing to rule out.
- For a suspected leak, do the meter testTurn everything off, note the meter, wait fifteen minutes. If it moved, you likely need leak detection. If not, you do not.
- For a frozen AC, run the fan onlySwitch cooling off and leave the fan running to thaw the coil before calling for AC repair. It also lets us actually diagnose the cause when we arrive.
- For a blocked toilet, check other drainsIf the sink and tub drain fine, it is a toilet-specific blockage. If they back up too, it is the main line, which is a different and more urgent job.
- Note any error codesFurnaces, tankless units and mini splits all report fault codes. Writing it down often tells us which parts to bring.
Have a licensed tech diagnose it and quote the repair up front.
Call (614) 756-0643What to do right now in an emergency
Burst pipe or major leak. Shut off your main water valve. In most valley homes it is where the supply enters, commonly in a garage, utility room or crawl space, and there is also a valve at the meter box near the street. Then turn off power to affected areas if water is near electrical equipment and you can reach the panel safely. Open the lowest taps in the house to drain the system, then call for burst pipe repair.
Smell of gas. Leave the building immediately, taking everyone with you. Do not operate any electrical switch on the way out, including light switches, and do not use your phone inside. Call your gas utility’s emergency line or 911 from outside, and do not go back in until they say it is safe; once it is, that is gas line repair territory, not a patch job.
Carbon monoxide alarm sounding. Get everyone outside into fresh air, including pets, and call the fire service from outside. Do not open windows to clear it first, because that removes the evidence responders need to find the source. Afterward, a furnace or water heater involved should get combustion safety testing before it runs again.
Electrical burning smell or hot panel. Shut off the main breaker if you can do so safely, do not open the panel cover, and call for a panel inspection.
In every one of these, the thing that limits the damage is what you do in the first two minutes rather than how fast anyone arrives.

Call (614) 756-0643How to describe a symptom so it is easy to diagnose remotely
The way a problem is described genuinely changes how well we can prepare before arriving.
- Say what the system is doing, not what you think caused it“The furnace shuts off after about ten seconds” is more useful than “I think the igniter is broken,” even if you turn out to be right.
- Note when it started and whether anything changed firstA storm, a power flicker, recent work on the system, or nothing at all, are all useful data points.
- Say whether it is constant, intermittent, or getting worseA slow drain that is stable is a different priority than one that has gone from slow to fully blocked in a week.
- Mention any sounds, smells or visible changesBuzzing, burning smells, discoloration, dripping, or a specific noise all narrow the likely cause meaningfully.
- Tell us if it has happened beforeA repeat of a previous problem often points to something structural rather than a one-off failure.
Ask for an upfront price before any work starts.
Call (614) 756-0643What happens between contacting us and the appointment
When you get in touch, whether by phone or through this page, the first thing that happens is confirming the basics: your address, a description of what is happening, and how urgent it is. That last part matters more than it might seem, because it determines whether your call goes into the emergency queue, ahead of routine work, or into the regular schedule.
From there you get a specific appointment window rather than a vague “sometime today,” and if anything changes on our end before the appointment, we contact you rather than leaving you to wonder. On arrival, the technician’s first task is diagnosis, not immediately starting work, which is the same rule described throughout this page and the rest of the site.
Same day and next day appointments are available across the valley.
Call (614) 756-0643What a quote from us actually looks like
A quote follows the diagnosis, and it states three things clearly: what was found, what is being proposed to fix it, and the total cost. It does not arrive as a range with fine print, and it does not change after you approve it, unless something new is discovered during the work, in which case that gets raised and approved separately before we act on it, not folded silently into the final bill.
We will also tell you, honestly, when a cheaper option exists. That might mean a repair instead of a replacement, a subpanel instead of a service upgrade, or simply that the problem you called about does not need the work you were expecting. None of that is typical for every contractor, but it is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Call (614) 756-0643Contacting us for a commercial property
Commercial requests follow the same process, with a couple of practical differences worth mentioning up front. Tell us the property type, restaurant, retail, office, multi-unit residential, since it affects both scheduling and what we bring. Commercial drain and grease line work in particular is often better scheduled outside business hours, both to avoid disrupting operations and because grease buildup problems tend to be time-sensitive once they start affecting service. The full services directory applies to commercial properties the same as residential.
For managed and multi-tenant properties, let us know who holds site access and who authorises spending, since those are sometimes different people, and we can route the quote to the right contact directly rather than relying on whoever happens to be on site.
Get this looked at before it turns into a bigger repair.

We confirm the details
The address, the symptom, and how urgent it is. Emergencies are dispatched ahead of routine work.
You get an appointment window
A real window rather than a vague afternoon, and we contact you if anything changes on the day.
Diagnosis on site
The technician establishes what is actually wrong before quoting, by measurement where measurement is what settles it.
You approve the price
Nothing proceeds until the cost is agreed, and it does not change afterwards.
Work, test, walkthrough
Completed, tested, cleaned up, and explained, including what caused it and what would prevent a repeat.
Request a visit and we will confirm your appointment window.
Call (614) 756-0643The diagnosis-then-quote process, in more detail
The order is always diagnosis, then price, then work
Nothing gets fixed, replaced or billed until you have seen a price and approved it. That single rule shapes every appointment: the technician’s first job on site is finding out what is actually wrong, not starting work.
For straightforward faults, diagnosis might take a few minutes: a visual check, a test, an obvious cause. For anything that has recurred, or that could have more than one cause, it takes longer and may involve instruments, a camera, or a load calculation. Either way, you get told what was found and what it costs before anything proceeds.
If a second problem turns up while the work is underway, the same rule applies: you hear about it and approve it before it happens, rather than finding it added to the final invoice. This is also why we do not give firm prices over the phone for anything beyond the simplest jobs. A number given without seeing the situation is a guess, and guesses are how homeowners end up surprised.

Call (614) 756-0643What to expect for response time depending on where you are
Being based in Meridian means response time is not identical everywhere we cover, and we would rather tell you that plainly than promise the same window regardless of address. Meridian itself, along with nearby Boise, Eagle, Kuna and Star, generally sees our fastest availability, including same-day appointments depending on the day’s schedule.
Nampa, Caldwell and Middleton are fully within our regular coverage, though drive time is a real factor, particularly during peak traffic hours. Mountain Home, being roughly an hour’s drive from our base, is scheduled deliberately rather than treated as a same-hour call, and we say that upfront rather than after you have waited. Genuine emergencies, a burst pipe, no heat, no cooling, or an electrical safety concern, get prioritised ahead of routine work everywhere in our service area, which can mean an emergency call moves ahead of an already scheduled routine visit.
Have a licensed tech diagnose it and quote the repair up front.
Call (614) 756-0643The specific details worth having ready
None of these are required, but each one genuinely speeds up the visit and can improve the diagnosis before anyone arrives.
- The address and the best contact numberEspecially for rural addresses, mention cross streets or landmarks if the address alone is not straightforward to find.
- Roughly when the house was builtIn this valley that single fact narrows the likely diagnosis more than almost any other detail, because housing era predicts what is behind the wall.
- What the system is doing, in plain termsNot your guess at the cause, just the behaviour: when it started, whether it is constant or intermittent, and whether anything changed right before it began.
- Any error codes or unusual soundsFurnaces, tankless units and mini splits report fault codes on a display or through blink patterns. Writing it down, or taking a photo, often tells us which parts to bring.
- Whether it is a rental or managed propertySo we know who to send the quote to and who authorises the spend, which is a common arrangement particularly for rural and Mountain Home properties.
- Photos, if it is safe to take themA photo of a leak, a panel, or an error screen can help us prepare, though never at the expense of your own safety in an emergency.

Call (614) 756-0643Towns we cover
Ada, Canyon and Elmore counties. If you are just outside one of these, ask anyway.
Meridian is our base and usually has the earliest availability. Boise, Nampa, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Caldwell and Middleton are all within the regular service area. Mountain Home is the furthest point we cover, so it is scheduled rather than treated as a same-hour call, and we will tell you that honestly rather than promise a window we cannot meet.
For rural addresses, mention the location and any access considerations when you get in touch so we can schedule travel realistically.
Ask for an upfront price before any work starts.
Call (614) 756-0643Frequently asked questions
Can you come out today?
Often, depending on the day’s schedule and where you are. Emergencies are prioritised ahead of routine work: burst pipes, main line backups, no heat in winter, no cooling in a heatwave, and electrical safety concerns such as burning smells or hot panels. Calling early in the day gives you the strongest odds of a same-day appointment. Mountain Home is the furthest point we cover and is scheduled rather than same-hour.
What information should I have ready?
Three things help most. The address, obviously. A description of what the system is actually doing rather than what you think is wrong, because symptoms often point somewhere unexpected. And roughly when the house was built, which in this valley narrows the likely diagnosis more than almost anything else. If a furnace, tankless unit or mini split is showing an error code, write it down, because it frequently tells us which parts to bring.
Do you charge for a diagnostic visit?
Diagnosis is real work, particularly on faults that need measurement rather than a visual check, and you will know what it costs before a technician is dispatched. What we will not do is start work and present the price afterwards. Once the diagnosis is done you get the price for the repair, and nothing proceeds until you approve it.
What counts as an emergency?
Anything causing continuing damage or presenting a safety risk. A burst pipe puts water into the building every minute it runs. A blocked main line means wastewater has nowhere to go. No heat in a cold snap and no cooling in a heatwave are both genuine urgencies in this climate, particularly for older residents and young children. Electrical warning signs such as a burning smell near a panel, buzzing, or a hot outlet are safety issues rather than inconveniences.
Do I need to be home for the appointment?
Generally yes, because the technician needs access and because you need to approve the price before work starts. For managed and rental properties we can work with whoever holds access and send quotes to whoever authorises the spend, which is a common arrangement particularly around Mountain Home. Mention that when you get in touch so we can set it up properly.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
We can explain what changes the price and roughly what a job involves, but we will not quote a firm figure for work we have not seen. That number would be invented, and you would find out the real one when the technician arrived, which is exactly the experience we are trying to avoid. What we commit to is quoting after diagnosis and before work, with the number not changing afterwards.
Do you work outside normal hours?
Emergency work is dispatched outside posted hours, because burst pipes and no-heat calls do not wait for business hours. Out of hours work is priced differently from scheduled work, and we tell you that before proceeding rather than afterwards. For commercial properties, work outside business hours is often preferable anyway, and we schedule that routinely.
What are your regular business hours?
Monday through Friday, 07:00 to 18:00, and Saturday, 08:00 to 16:00. Emergency plumbing, heating and cooling calls are dispatched outside posted hours.
How much slower is response time in Mountain Home or rural areas?
Mountain Home is roughly an hour’s drive from our Meridian base, which is why it is scheduled rather than treated as a same-hour call, and we say so before you commit to an appointment rather than after. Rural addresses around Kuna, Star, Middleton and Canyon County are within our regular service area, but mentioning access details, gate codes, long driveways, when you contact us helps us schedule the visit realistically.
What is the best way to describe my problem when I contact you?
Describe what the system is actually doing rather than your guess at the cause, note when it started and whether anything changed beforehand, and mention any sounds, smells or visible changes. Say whether it has happened before, since a repeat problem often points to something structural. All of that helps us prepare before we even arrive, and it is more useful than a diagnosis guess, even an educated one.
Do you serve commercial properties, and how is that different?
Yes. Tell us the property type when you contact us, since it affects scheduling; commercial drain and grease line work in particular is often better handled outside business hours. For managed or multi-tenant properties, let us know who holds access and who authorizes spending so quotes go to the right person.
Will the price I approve ever change after work starts?
No, not for the work you approved. If something new is discovered once we are already working, we raise it with you and it gets approved separately before we act on it, rather than being added to the final invoice as a surprise. The number you agree to at the start of a job is the number for that job.
Can I get a written quote before deciding?
Yes. After diagnosis, you receive a clear statement of what was found, what is proposed, and the total cost, and nothing proceeds until you have reviewed and approved it. Take the time you need to decide; the quote does not expire while you consider it, though scheduling availability for the work itself may shift the further out you wait.
Can I contact you about more than one issue at the same time?
Yes, and it is worth mentioning everything at once rather than calling back separately for each item. If you have a slow drain and a flickering light and a furnace due for its annual check, tell us all three, and we will work out whether they can reasonably be combined into a single visit or whether they need separate scheduling.
Do you offer financing or maintenance plans?
We have not published financing terms or a formal maintenance plan on this site. If either matters to your decision, ask when you contact us and we will tell you plainly what is currently available rather than leaving you to guess.
Can I request a specific appointment day or time window?
Yes, tell us your preference when you contact us and we will do our best to match it against the day’s schedule. We cannot guarantee an exact time down to the minute, but you will get a real, specific window rather than an open-ended “sometime today,” and we will contact you if anything changes before the appointment.
What if I need to reschedule an appointment?
Let us know as soon as you can. We understand plans change, and rescheduling is straightforward as long as you contact us before the appointment window rather than simply not being available when the technician arrives, which affects both your visit and the schedule of anyone waiting behind it.
Can someone else be present for the appointment instead of me?
Yes, as long as they can grant access and, ideally, are authorized to approve the price on your behalf. Let us know ahead of time who will be there, and if pricing decisions need to come back to you directly, tell us that too so we can call you at the right moment rather than assuming the person on site can make that call.
What is the fastest way to reach you for a genuine emergency?
Call the phone number at the top of this page directly rather than using the online form, since a call reaches a person immediately and a form submission is checked periodically. For a burst pipe, a gas smell, or a sounding carbon monoxide alarm, take the safety steps described above first, then call.
Do you serve both homeowners and landlords or property managers?
Yes. For rental and managed properties, tell us upfront who holds site access and who authorizes the price, since those are sometimes different people. We can send the quote and any documentation directly to whoever handles that decision, which keeps a job from stalling on an approval step that was never clearly assigned.
What should I do if I am not sure whether my situation counts as an emergency?
Contact us and describe it. We would rather make that call with you than have you either wait too long on something genuinely urgent or worry unnecessarily about something routine. Anything involving gas, carbon monoxide, active flooding, or no heat or cooling in extreme weather should always be treated as urgent regardless of how it seems.
Can I contact you to ask a general question without booking a visit?
Yes. Not every contact needs to end in an appointment, and a quick question about whether something sounds urgent, whether a task is safe to attempt yourself, or what a service generally involves is a reasonable use of the contact page on its own.
Have a licensed tech diagnose it and quote the repair up front.
